This collection brings together a series of self-directed projects exploring brand identity, layout, and visual storytelling. Each piece was developed as a way to test ideas freely, combining classroom assignments and personal experiments to refine technique and visual judgment.

The first set includes a mock magazine cover and a selection of spreads from a brochure concept created for the print shop where I once worked. Both originated in a college graphic design course. The brochure, in particular, was an opportunity to experiment with blending marketing tone and production detail, merging what I'd learned in a real print environment with formal design study.

The second group revisits hospitality design through two menu design concepts — one for Miss Kim's Fish and Chicken Shack in Fulton, Missouri, and another for J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks. Each was created as an independent exercise in layout and brand tone: the former expressive and informal, the latter refined and understated. Both explore how typography, material cues, and proportion shape the dining experience before a meal is even started.
